Fun stuff came in today for The Hopeless Business..

Dia de los Muertos

Moving out of New Mexico was huge for me.
I thought that I was destined to stand with
the hot bursts of desert sand filled wind for
the rest of my life. I now live so far from it
sometimes it feels like the present is reaching
up and choking me with its cold east coast grip.
I miss the stores with the colorful pinata's and
characters wearing sombreros. I have been getting
home sick and doing things that remind me of home to
make it easier to deal with. I started this
the other day and look forward to painting it. It
will most definately bring my spirits up when finished.
Maybe when I get back to New Mexico one day soon
I can find a nice big wall to paint this on as well.
